Candidate for Hope Mills Board of Commissioners

I am a fairly new resident of Hope Mills, though I have lived in the area since 2005.  I have watched the growth in the town closely and have decided to throw my hat in the ring now.

My main goals are to maintain fiscal responsibility and accountability, grow the town in a responsible manner in a way that benefits the majority, even if I don't personally agree, and make sure the employees have what they need to succeed.

As an employee of the Town of Spring Lake, I believe that I bring a unique perspective to the board, especially having been under the control of the LGC for the past two years.  I will never tell a town employee what to do, how to do their job, or otherwise interfere in their work.  I know, respect, and will use the "chain of command".

I have also been part of the Hope Mills Parks and Recreation Committee, and the Board of Adjustments for the past two years, and as such I have seen the behind the scenes work that our town has done to improve life for the residents.  I am eagerly awaiting eligibility to join in the senior programs... two more years!

A vote for me will bring a new perspective to the board but, even if you don't vote for me, please cast your ballot, it's your voice for the future. Don't silence yourself.
