Putting signs together

Good Morning, I am finally putting my signs together to display around town. They aren't the "normal" red white and blue. Instead, I am using my favorite colors, purple and teal. The purple still represents the Flag, but like me, a blending of the two sides, while the teal is just one of my favorite colors.

I have been asked about my party affiliation, I used to be a Republican, but am now an unaffiliated moderate since I have trouble fitting into one mold. Overall, I believe in fiscal responsibility, but still support social programs. Frankly, I'd rather my taxes go to my neighbor in need than to the corporation that just gives it to the CEO or shareholders rather than invest it in their people or infrastructure.

Along that same line, I also believe in shopping local, supporting local events, and of course, working with our neighbors to help them succeed. That doesn't mean that I am going to blindly support all local endeavors if the cost is too high- in environment, money, resources, or people.

I will weigh all proposed outcomes against the risks, both short and long term, before I make a decision. I will listen to the voters, all of them, not just the most passionate. Compromise isn't always pretty, but it's often necessary.

And again, in closing, even if you do not vote for me, please cast your ballots. Your vote is your voice, and it's becoming too important for us all to be heard amongst the rhetoric.
